What's a Raspberry Pi you ask? It's a teeny, tiny computer that fits in the palm of your hand. It uses a microSD card like a hard drive and connects to your monitor or HDTV via the HDMI port. Just a plug your keyboard and mouse into the USB ports, connect the power, and you're ready to start doing fun stuff.

The Raspberry Pi has finally grown up with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. It's packed with "big boy" features like a newly updated quad-core ARM processor, 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0, and (finally) honest-to-goodness Gigabit Ethernet. Since it's more power hungry (and it's 2019) a USB C port has also been added for power.

With all this added awesome the Raspberry Pi 4 does put out a lot of heat. We highly recommend picking up some heatsinks and an enclosure with a fan to keep your Pi running cool. Be sure to check out the Recommended Accessories section below to get everything you'll need.
